With a mission of creating & sustaining jobs and businesses, VEDC continues its efforts in providing affordable business assistance services, direct financial assistance, and entrepreneurial training to individuals and businesses in Los Angeles County, as well as statewide lending.

In 35 years, VEDC has served over 95,000 businesses in creating/retaining nearly 18,000 jobs, helped 1,611 new businesses open, graduated 2,907 individuals from the Entrepreneurial Training Program and provided $313,968,394 in direct and guaranteed lending for small businesses.
